Welcome to Montgomery PTA for the 2017-18 school year.
Welcome all new and returning Montgomery families. We are looking forward to a wonderful 2017-2018 school year! Let’s all give a huge thank you to Tim Monkhouse for maintaining and updating our PTA website and adding lots of improvements. We will now be using the website as the primary source of communication to keep you informed of the most up-to-date happenings at MES. Please check the website frequently to stay informed.
Over the summer the PTA, led by Christy Connor and Grace Garland, made some fabulous improvements to our cafeteria. We have repainted the walls, stained the stage, AND hung acoustic tiles to the walls and ceilings. We hope everyone will enjoy the reduction of noise during lunch and other activities held in the cafeteria!
Please remember to join the PTA. Online registration is now open. Through this registration you can pay for PTA membership, classroom dues, agenda planners, yearbooks, and directories. You can also contribute to the enrichment fund or make any extra donations. I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer, and I look forward to seeing all of you in August!
It is very important for all families to register online. Our online PTA registration allows you to purchase all the things that you and your student(s) will need to start the year off right, including:
- Join the PTA ($5 per individual, $10 per family). We encourage all families, teachers and staff to join the PTA to ensure its continued success in supporting our school.
- Sign up for volunteer opportunities
- Make an optional Enrichment Fund donation
- Make an optional Mustang Fund donation
- Purchase required agendas
- Purchase a printed school directory (A new online directory will also be available for free for all registered PTA members.)
- Pay class dues

Below are the school supply lists for the 2016/2017 school year. If you did not purchase supplies through SchoolKidz, please use these lists to purchase supplies for your child(ren). Bring the supplies to the Back to School Fair on Wednesday, August 3rd. Please note that there is not a supply list for the Pre-K program.
